Welcome to the PerfectPixel Browser Extension privacy policy. This privacy policy governs the data collection, usage, and sharing practices of the PerfectPixel browser extension, including the PerfectPixel PRO and Enterprise editions. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal information.
When you use PerfectPixel Browser Extension, we collect the following information:
a. Anonymized usage information: If the "Send anonymous statistics to developers" checkbox is checked in the extension settings (checked by default), we use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data about your use of the PerfectPixel panel UI, including button clicks, user screen resolution, language, country, and enabled settings. This data helps us understand our audience and track feature usage.
b. Advertising data: PerfectPixel displays ads within an iframe inside the PerfectPixel panel UI. We do not inject ads into visited pages, and the ads' code does not have access to any data from visited pages.
If you purchase the PerfectPixel PRO subscription, ads will be disabled.
c. PerfectPixel Enterprise Edition: The Enterprise Edition does not send any data outside your organization or download any data from the internet, except in cases where you choose to paste an image from a URL. This edition is suitable for banks and organizations with strict security policies.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
a. To improve and optimize the PerfectPixel Browser Extension, by understanding feature usage and user preferences.
b. To provide personalized and relevant advertisements within the PerfectPixel panel UI.
c. To offer and manage the PerfectPixel PRO subscription and the Enterprise Edition.
We do not share your personal information with any third parties, except as required by law, in response to a subpoena or other legal process, or to protect our rights or the rights of others.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, both during transmission and while it is stored on our servers. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
Our browser extension is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.
